The launch event of the @nclusion Project took place on 10 October 2024 at the Greek Forum of Migrants, bringing together key stakeholders to raise awareness on the integration of LGBTQI+ migrants and refugees. Participants responded positively to the organization, venue, and the quality of the content and presentations. The atmosphere was engaging, and attendees valued the opportunity to network and exchange ideas. A key highlight was the open discussion facilitated by Gregory Vallianatos, activist for LGBTQI+ issues and special advisor for social policy issues of the Municipality of Athens. Notably, migrant and racialized individuals from the queer community actively contributed to the discussion, enriching it with their perspectives and lived experiences. Suggestions for improvement included providing clearer directions to the venue, offering more variety in the catering, and allowing additional time for informal dialogue.
